are we gonna get analog support

it's really frustrating that the sticks on the hydra now work as 4 way digital input in the motion creator software (wasd). Is there any chance we are going to get an update to fix this? is there any way to make custom profiles to fix this? im trying to use the hydra for a flight simulator, left stick for flying the plane, i realy need analog input for doing this. any help appreciated.

i think the motion creator allows analog sticks, but only in a sort of gamepad mode that also disables the motion sensing.
i think the problem is that a regular gamepad doesnt have enough axis for that to be turned on.
in the case that my assumption is true, there is still a slightly complicated workaround:

you could get mr.wonkos direct input wrapper or carl kenners glovepie, install the ppjoy drivers (virtual joystick) and create a custom joystick driver with enough axis.
however many games can only be played with the xbox360 controller... which, again, doesnt have enough axis.
so you would also have to get the xbox360 controller emulator and hope that the game allows you to use 2 controllers for 1 player.
flight simulators shouldn't have that kind of problem tho, they should support all kinds of joysticks.

With any luck, one of the developers will read this.

I have the same problem... and it's kind of mixed for me. I really don't want to install ppjoy because I don't want to deal with the Windows test mode and such to get it working. I really just want some of the options that are in gamepad mode available in motion control mode.

If any of the devs are reading this, any chance you could have options for a pass through in the MCEs? I would like to just be able to use the Motion Control mode like normal and just specify that the left stick (and only the left stick) pass through to the gamepad mode controls.

With that, I can just either use analog motion in games that support normal gamepad controllers without issue, or I can just use the xbox360 controller emulator to pass through that stick in games that let you fluidly use both keyboard and gamepad.
