    MotionCreator 2 Beta Build 2141

    INSTALLATION

NOTE: If you have worked on or created any MCEs in your configs directory of your current build, you'll have to move them to Documents/username/Sixense Entertainment/MotionCreator 2/configs/. This is where you should put all of your mce's. Instead of modifying Sixense created mce's, you should duplicate them into the user configs directory and disable the Sixense created mce.

    1. Download the .zip attached to this post. Unzip it using your compression utility. (Free utilities: 7-Zip, WinRar)

    2. Run the setup file.

    3. Run the MotionCreator.exe.

    RELEASE NOTES
This is a beta release for MotionCreator 2.0

    06/25/12 - 2.0.0.2141
    - Added an uninstall process to the installer.

    Editor:
    - Added up & down buttons for conditions and actions
    - Fixed up & down buttons for bindings with multiple binding groups
    - Fixed point gesture activate controller always pointing to the controller when opening the dialog
    - Fixed Freelook exponent not saving/loading correctly
    - Fixed exclusive hold checkbox not getting set properly when opening an existing binding
    - Added the ability to DRAG bindings, conditions, and actions. Press ctrl while dragging to copy the binding, condition or action. You can also drag a condition or action to a bindings, or drag a binding to a new binding group.
    - Wired up all spin controls ( up and down buttons for properties ) with data verification.

I also added an mce for the Editor that removes a lot of the functionality of the Default Mouse Pointer. Crossing your arms will disable most bindings so you can use the input from the Hydra for things like auto detecting button press for Button Conditions and threhsolds for triggers etc. I will continue to add more direct input from the Hydra where appropriate. I need to get grids working and add the key_press condiiton first though.

    Found two bugs:

    1. when making a condition checking double tap eludes saving, however it works if double tap is choosen from the drop down filter list

2 If opening a condition that has inverted filter (do not press) this automatically resets to normal filter

    Kind regards

Ok. I just reproduced them with this mce: http://sixense.com/forum/vbulletin/s...1311#post11311

    The first binding is use
It has two conditions: dont press left bumper, press right 3
If i click the first condition the filter will say normal even it should say inverted
If i click ok the filter is saved as normal, so this means i have to change it back manually each time i open the condition in mceditor to have it saved as inverted

If you try to check the box for douple tap for the second condition in this binding, when you have pressed ok it will still say press, not double tap as it should.
But, as i said, this problem can be avoided if i choose double tap from the filter drop down menu instead

Strange you cant see them. I used your installer without uninstalling my last version. Maybe i should uninstall and reinstall the new mceditor to see if this is still there...

The first bindings shows up inverted for me.

If I check the double_tap checkbox and press ok, you are correct in that the Action says press, but if you open the dialog again the double_tap checkbox is still checked.

Can you try running the editor from where you installed MotionCreator? Are you able to drag conditions actions and bindings in this editor?

Yes i am able to drag conditions. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again. Same problem. When i reopen the dialog the double tap is always unchecked. When i open the dialog for the first condition the filter says normal. When i close the dialog it says press, but before i opened the dialogue it said not pressing

Hmmm... what region are you in?

Do the other filter settings save/load correctly?

How about the inverted, hidden or exclusive hold checkboxes?

    Im in Sweden.

All filters from the filter drop down menu saves correctly, but resets to normal whenever the dialog is opened.

None of the checkboxes saves, exept exclusive hold that both saves and loads correctly.

I am going to assume that you can reproduce this when creating an mce from scratch. What OS are you running? Do settings like Repeat On, Repeat Off, On Only, Off Only stick in an action?
    I can't repo this in windows 7 64bit or Windows XP 32bit.

Is anyone else seeing this issure with the editor?
    1. Create a game
    2. Create a binding
    3. Add a button press condition.
    4. Change the button press filter to anything but normal.
    5. Press OK
    6. Double click the condition to open it again. Did the filter setting stick?

Can you try the attached editor for me please? Run it with a -dev command line argument. Then do the following.

    1. Open the Skyrim ABSA.mce in question.
    2. Open the 1st condition in the Activate / Use / Pick-up binding as you have described earlier.
    3. Close the condition dialog window.
    4. exit the application.
    5. Send me the output of the log.txt file that was created

    Thanks!
