Question Will Portal In Motion be a stand-alone DLC?

Hi, I'm curious whether this new Portal 2 DLC will work without the original game. A while ago, I beat the game's single player and co-op campaigns; and eventually sold the game. It would be awesome if in order to play this new content I didn't need the disc.

Nope. You'll need Portal 2 to run the PS Move and Razer Hydra levels, as both are still a part of the game itself.

    Yep.

Would be nice if Portal 2 was put on the PlayStation Store as a digital download, for a small price but also free for those who purchased Portal 2 for PS3 (and linked it to Steam to get the free PC/Mac version).

I'm sure many sold their physical copies by now. Letting them have Portal 2 "back" in digital form would help Portal 2 In Motion sales.

It's very unrealistic to think of getting a free PSN copy just for having owned the game previously, but I agree that it would be a good idea to have it available on the PSN store.

Well, technically, it's not completely unrealistic. I think the user database of those who linked their Steam account with the PSN one to get the free copy of Portal 2 for PC/Mac could be used "in reverse" to grant free access to the digital PSN release as well (if it actually materializes) to those who are entitled. But yeah, whatever the case, a digital release (perhaps for super-cheap / free for PS+ members?) of Portal 2 should definitely be considered.

No, he means a free copy for people who linked their Steam account with the voucher. It makes sense because P2 only includes one voucher.
