    FPGA mouse emulation

    Hello all,

I have an idea for a project that is very relevant to the upcoming release of W8.
Has anyone considered utilizing some sort of embedded solution to emulate mouse movement from the Hydra at the firmware level?
Not going to lie, I initially envisioned the Hydra performing this function and was kind of disappointed at the requirement of hardware drivers.
I'm getting the feeling a lot of people would love to simply plug the hydra in and have it work without drivers.
Think of all the upcoming metro apps soon to be flooding the Windows Store.
Ill bet that plenty of touch driven games will still support native mouse movement and that is where the opportunity lies.
Plus I have heard rumors of metro apps running on the Xbox with mouse support.

This is just a random idea, I don't even know where to begin.

Hm... That sounds like a good idea. However, the Razer Hydra would need to gain popularity before that could happen. It just depends on how successful the Sixense's technology becomes.
