Even if I just have the left joystick available to use for movement, i could use my keyboard for actions. but the joystick is vitally necessary for sf

I don't really think the Hydra is suited to this type of game, unless I am missing something? Wouldn't you be better getting a gamepad, or better still a fightstick? I use the Hori V3, which I think is a pretty nice budget stick (around $50-60).

An arcade joystick is always going to be superior for fighting games like this, but I'm confident I could shoryuken pretty well with the Hydra .

However I wish to ask, can't you adjust arrow keys as bindings with gestures, buttons or joystick movements?

If yes, one could easily adjust a joystick to do the particular directions.
Also, I wish to ask whether you can bind a gestures with multiple arrow key bindings separated by a delay (of a second or two). Because if you can do so, one can bind down, right, down, right kick or punch separated by a second delay to do automatically a super combo with a gesture! However, could you do so?

    Thanks.

Yes you can bind key presses to gestures, buttons or joysticks.

Yes you can easily set a joystick to do the directions.

Yes you can have one button press multiple keys with different delays.
