I suggest that you make something like Simple3d and have it so that you hold your controllers centered and it offsets it automatically based on how off-centered the controllers are in the program. After that, it would ask if you are happy with the results (or something like that). It would be much simpler than editing a file or sliding a slider etc.

*sigh* I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Well, you're way is still good, plus it's more plausible that my suggestion. It doesn't seem to be working very well for me, though.
