Right got that fixed I think i was too close the the hub but
god its so annoying. in the portal DLC some times why you have to move your arm forwards to stretch out the axis for forward gets mixed up with the backwards axis so you have to pull back to make the box go forwards.... its totally annoying ....
Does docking the controllers fix it?

Right it was quite late last night when I was testing it and my GF was nagging me lol. any way I think I have worked out what the deal is with this thing. In starting to think its faulty but i my just be me.
I started using the dev kit to visualize the position of the two controllers.
This is what I found.
Pointing at the base
IF I have the two controllers directly in front of the base I have to position my self about 3 feet away from the base to get stable controls (but if I stretch my arm forwards with my right hand (for portal 2) the right controller starts to flip into random directions.
Using the base on the Left.
does not work at all. All movements ark towards the base even if i'm 3 feet away
Using the base on the right.
This works really well but I 3 foot away from the base and the angle to the unit from the two controllers is not parallel. In fact its closer to 30* degrees than parallel.
I have also discovers that is you move your hands apart the right controller reverses its forward and back wards movements. Its very irritating when your trying to manipulate the boxes in portal 2.
Is my devise working properly? I'm going to make a video to demonstrate what it is doing.
Thanks for the reply btw.
no it does not but flicking you arm around like a mad man some times fixes it.Originally Posted by Danny
