Portal 2 Sixense DLC

I have a problem. I can't get the Sixense Motion Pack DLC for Portal 2, since I gave the key to my friend. I already owned Portal 2 and assumed that just giving him the key would be good enough. I didn't know that it contained my Sixense DLC for Portal 2, and he's already activated the key.

Is it possible to just get a DLC code without a copy of Portal 2?

I don't know how I can help with that, but Razer's FAQs says that you're supposed to activate that code then give the game to somebody.
