Why is there a "google [bot]" registered to the forum?

It's an automatic phpBB thing - the forum software can distinguish between real people and bots and allows the admin to set what pages should be visible to search engine bots. This way they can e.g. let them index categories that would usually require registration. It's also useful for seeing whether your site gets scanned by search engines at all.
