    World of Tanks MCE

    Hello everybody!

    I created this MCE for WoT. However, it doesn't seem to work properly, so i would appreciate feedback from other Hydra owners who play WoT.

    The thing is, yesterday i took the vanilla HL2 MCE and started to modify it. Not every key was binded but it worked, i could look around with right controller and move the tanks with left joystick. Today, after finishing the MCE, it simply refuses to let me use the right controller, and i don't have any idea why.

    Button Layout

    Left controller:

    Trigger = Auto-aim

    Start = Main menu

    Bumper = Special reticle

    1 = Cruise forward

    3 = Cruise back

    2 = Mouse cursor to mark enemies on the map overview

    Joystick = WASD to move the tanks

    Right controller

    Trigger = Fire

    Start = Score Page

    Joystick up = Zoom in

    Joystick down = Zoom out

    Credits go to bluesaberist for the Joystick's Scroll=Zoom feature!

    Re: World of Tanks MCE

    Hey LC21,

    Good start on this MCE. I just changed and added a few things and its working pretty well for me.

    Here are the notes for the config I am currently using:

    * Changed the mouse pointer mode from "wand" to "fps".

    * Added a ratchet to button 1 on right controller.

    * Switched Cruise Forward and Cruise Back buttons. This just seems more natural to me.

    * Lock Hull - Bound to 4 on left controller.

    * Stop and Fire - Bound to right bumper.

    * Slot 1 (AP Ammo) - Bound to 4 on right controller
    * Slot 3 (HE Ammo) - Bound to 2 on right controller
    > Buttons 2,3,4 on right controller could easily be bound to whatever quick slots you use most.

    Lastly:

    I use the cruise mode a lot, and I find that when turning I sometimes inadvertently roll the left joystick up or down to the diagonals, which presses "w" or "s" and deactivates cruise mode. What I am currently trying is using an 8-way joystick instead of 4-way, then setting the diagonals to hit only "a" or "d" not "a+w" or "a+s" etc. This stabilizes the cruise mode pretty well, but prevents you from moving forward and turning at the same time with the joystick. It works for me, but others will probably prefer the 4-way. I'll attach both versions. Just to note, this is the first I've worked on an MCE.

    So, did Nathanderal not attach the MCEs, or am I missing the link?

    Good catch. He did post it actually, but this link must have gotten overlooked when we changed our forum. His link is the same as what we have as our World of Tanks MCE in our Motion Creator.

    I would want some more options, since i dont know how to bind stuff myself, like Tank-info when ur ingame change the view on their names to see what tanks they drive, etc

    And is Grid possible in WoT ?
