What does each number mean? That's the real question. I want to completely disable filtering.

Re: Lower your Hydras latency: Custom force_filter.txt

The first number is the distance from the base to start ramping of the filter value.
The third number is the distance from the base to end ramping of the filter value.
The second number is the start value for the filter
The fourth number is the end value for the filter.

    Default force_filter.txt values:
    800 .93 1200 .98

At 800mm or less, the filter value applied is 0.93
At 1200 or more the filter value applied is 0.98
Anywhere in between, a linear ramp of the filter value is applied.

Thanks. So 0 1 0 1 would be no filtering?

The opposite. A higher number means more filtering.

So does this file apply to any and all games that are played via the Hydra? Is it possible to apply different filters to different games?

No the filter is a global setting, but you can change the filter prior to launching the game

You can increase or decrease the filter with an action though. I wonder why we added that??

    Hmm, I see.

Under the MotionCreator Preferences I notice there are a couple presets available. Is there a way to tell what the actual values for these presets are?

Whenever you switch to the Custom setting the custom settings will default to the current preset.
