Hey I was playing some games in the living room with the Hydra cords at their full extent. When I let them rest on the couch so I could get up to go get a drink I stepped on the cords by accident which yanked the controllers of the couch and land on the floor. The buttons ended up getting jammed so I can't press them. How do I fix it? It has happen multiple times to me before and usually they would loosen up if I hit them. Should I use the warranty or does what I'm doing violate it?

Opening the controller voids the warranty afaik. Sent some advice in a pm

How long would it take for customer service to fix it and back, I has the base station ever been defected on these things?
Im not sure exactly how long the turn-around for the Razer RMA is. Probably around a week, maybe less. Other users here would have a better idea.
To RMA your unit go to the menu at the top of these forums and click Support>Razer Hydra RMA, this will bring you to the form to schedule the RMA.
As Danny mentioned opening your controllers will void your warranty.

Ok if do decide to void the warranty can I still actually send it in for repairs?
How do I remove the rubber pads blocking the screws? I'm tempted to violate my warranty if customer service takes too long.
We can't help you void your warranty.if the rubber pad covers are an issue it may be a sign of this being a bad idea for you to embark on.

Razers customer support contacted me and they said that accidental damage is not covered, only defects, I guess I'm gonna have to do it myself so can you guys provide some instructions on how to get the buttons back in place

You could say that buttons jammed in normal use. If you anyway like to open controller there are two holes covered with small rubber cones, maybe there are two screws hidden underneath. Though I haven't never opened controller, because I don't want to brake guarantee, don't blame me if you can't open it easily.
