The admin's should banned those account that is spamming the forums with viral posts.

All banned, we might be moving to a new forum soon with better anti-bot systems.

PHPBB is pretty nice in general, I'd prefer you kept it, but spambots do tend to get in. But there are some mods to deal with that, though I've never used them myself and can't recommend any.

vBulletin is much more robust, I'm setting it up to have Facebook logins, reputation and lots of other fun bells and whistles.

PHPBB was a great starter board :).

By the way the reason for the influx of spammers was the anti-spam tools .php was broken after an update. Fixed now.
