Hey guys, seeing as this is my first post on these forums I would like to take the time to say hello to everyone.

I run a website called http://www.s3dgamerzone.com/ . I review and preview games in 3D using different driver solutions , Example : Nvidia 3D Vision, IZ3D and Trideff DDD drivers . The whole purpose of 3D is to heighten the Immersion factor in your games and allow the gamer to really connect to his environment. Your essentially opening up your minds ability to detect the depth in the game world . It's these similar game play elements that I believe will be translated into the Razor Hydra controller.

The 1-1 motion tracking is allowing you to bring another of your body's senses to the game and combining that with 3D , I think would be amazing. I am very curious to see what would happen if playing a game like Portal 2 or Batman: Arkham Asylum in 3D while using the Razer Hydra would be like.

Portal 2 looks absolutely Fantastic in 3D (minus some minor anomaly's) and I can visualize using the Razer Hydra in 3D with it and being able to manipulate blocks or panels in what would seem like a virtual world. As you can tell, I'm very exited about this product . If I get my hands on one I will do a full review of it and specifically talk about the 3D and 2D implications .

This is a great step towards combining all of your body's senses and bring it into a game. Incorporating your body's motion and then having a real depth perception of your game environment is very close to full Immersion .

Well guys , I'm sry for the wall of text but this has me really exited and I wanted to be thorough in expressing my thoughts and opinions on it. I decided to place a video of Portal 2 in 3D here , I know you probably won't be able to see the 3D effect given the limited amount of people that have 3D Monitors/TV's ,but for future references it might be able to give you an idea of how 3D and the Razer hydra combined will work.

Heres the video,

(What timing, i literally finished making the video only 2 days ago )

Thanks you,

I'm a big fan of 3D gaming, so when the PS3 went 3D, I jumped right on it. There's a blocks puzzle game on the PS3 that uses both 3D and the PS Move. It is -amazing-. The combination of motion control and 3D gave me SO much control over what was happening.

Since the Hydra is like the Move, but better (more accurate, etc) I expected the experience to be extremely immersive.

BTW, I played Portal 2 in 3D all the way through, twice. It was amazing even with just a mouse. The Hydra... Well, I can't wait.

(I also played Portal 2 without 3D all the way through, and it wasn't nearly as immersive.)
